Arthropodium cirrhatum, rengarenga lily
Arthropodium cirrhatum or renga renga lilies are naturally only found in a couple of places in Hawke’s Bay, and this one come from near Kairakau. This is the Hawke’s Bay alternative to agapanthus. Perfect for underplanting trees and dry shade conditions. Likes frost free sites. Grows to 75cm high and 75cm wide when mature. Keep slugs and snails at bay because they find it delicious. Elegant white flowers in summer.
