Corynocarpus laevigatus, karaka

Corynocarpus laevigatus or karaka has attractive large dark glossy green leaves and is a common coastal species in Hawke’s Bay. This seed was sourced from Waipatiki. The large yellow fragrant fruits are produced in late summer. Plant in sunny moist soils.
