Muehlenbeckia axillaris, creeping pohuehue
Muehlenbeckia axillaris, creeping pohuehue is a wonderful groundcover plant for shade or sun. It has small green leaves and white berries. It likes well drained soils and is frost hardy. It isn’t common in Hawke’s Bay but it’s in one or two places in the Kaweka Ranges.
