Passiflora tetrandra, passionvine

Passiflora tetrandra, passionvine, kohia is the most gorgeous dark green leaved climber, and its male plants have small yellow fluffy flowers in spring which bees just love; its female plants produce round bright orange pods with a few passionfruit seeds which are great for birds. Plant with a cool root run. Found throughout Hawke’s Bay forests.
